Amongst many reasons that I’ll not bore you with I’ve decided to document some of my graphic design & website design work because frequently I gather much of my inspiration from the wealth of design blogs and forums on the web and hope that maybe some of my work may serve the same purpose, which sounds a bit pompous now I write it but that’s the honest truth, though I guess partly it’s driven by my vanity and ego,...ok ok...completely.
A short intro to me, I have to admit I’m not a professionally trained designer, I fell into it through website design where clients wanted packaging, brochures, business cards, and you name it and I’m not one to turn down work so I’m self-taught (and I’m sure it shows in some of my projects). So with that premise and without further ado, I’ll start with my latest project, packaging for pistachios for a Russian company (incidentally their name is pronounced chy-ka, which means seagull...I kid you not).
